Procedure for Usage of Logo:

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure the following conditions governing the use of the Certificate and proper use of AVSMS Logo by certified clients.

This document becomes a part of the legally enforceable agreement by signing the contract you deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions mentioned below.

1) Certification Conditions

1.1 Use of Certificate

  • The certificate shall remain the property of the Certification Body.
  • Certificates are valid for three years from the date of the certificate issue, subject to satisfactory annual surveillance assessments.
  • Certificates are not transferable.
  • The certificate shall only be displayed at the location applicable to the certificated scope of supply.
  • The certificate shall not be used to imply certification of any location other than that detailed on the certificate.
  • The certificate shall not be used in any way to imply product approval.
  • The certificated client must advise the Certification Body of any changes which may affect the scope of supply.
  • The certified client shall inform the certification body, without delay, of matters that may affect the capability of the management system to continue to fulfil the requirements of the standard used for certification. These include, for example, changes relating to
    a) the legal, commercial, organizational status or ownership.
    b) organization and management (e.g. key managerial, decision-making or technical staff),
    c) contact address and sites.
    d) scope of operations under the certified management system, and
    e) major changes to the management system and processes.
    (i) If the Client changes operating site, then the certification body shall conduct a surveillance visits to check the Management System is operating to the requirements of certified standard.

1.2 Use of AVSMS Logo

The Certification body ie., AVSMS Logo shall always be used on certificates issued in conjunction with the Client’s name and have the certificate number adjacent to it.

The AVSMS Logo may be reproduced in any size provided the configuration is strictly adhered to, including the surrounding frame.

  1. AVSMS’s certification marks indicate conformance of the organization’s management system with the requirements of the Applicable ISO standard.
  2. In Line with the requirements specified in ISO 17021, Logos are not an indication of Product Conformity and as such are not to be used on a Product or in a way that may be interpreted as denoting product or performance conformity.
  3. AVSMS’s policy governing any Logo that it authorizes certified clients to use. This assures, among other things, traceability back to AVSMS. There is no ambiguity, in the Logo or accompanying text, as to what has been certified, and which certification body has granted the certification. This Logo shall not be used on a product or product packaging seen by the consumer or in any other way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity.
  4. AVSMS don’t Authorize the use of FSMS Certification Logo on the product nor the product Packaging, both Primary packaging (which contains the product) and any outer or secondary packaging.
